As a nonprofit who submits a cause, you do not necessarily need to provide us with money or a budget. Crews for a Cause's goal is to produce videos for qualifying organizations or causes at little to no cost to them. However, we are currently refining a model that checks the background and finances of each organization and potentially charges a small donation based on a scaled rate. Although all of our volunteers are working pro bono, Crews for a Cause needs to produce a small amount of funding per year to stay afloat. Our current model is to charge a small production fee (donation) to the more established nonprofits and causes with larger budgets. This money goes right back into Crews for a Cause, and gives us the ability to pay for our own operational expenses as well as the production costs for the some smaller organizations.
