Unless otherwise specified, we generally prefer the following settings:
Frame Rate: 24fps, or 23.976 (unless shooting slow-motion).
Image Size - To 4K or not to 4K: Generally, we will not be shooting in 4k and keep our image size to 1080p. Unless you have an idea to use a 4k image within a 1080p space, for example shooting a single camera interview in 4K as a wide shot that can be punched in to a close up as well.
Shutter Speed: Generally double the frame rate.
Color Profile: Unless you have a lot of experience with "Log" formats, please use whatever settings will look best out of the camera.
Codec: Anything from Apple Prores to AVCHD is fine. Whatever you choose, make sure it is the best quality for the amount you're shooting.
Whatever Frame Rate, Shutter Speed, ISO, & Color Profile you decide to shoot in, make sure all cameras are in the same settings.
